Still haven’t figured out what you’re wearing for the White-Out Party? Guess what?! Here’s more time. This theme has been postponed until Gareth Emery hits the stage Feb. 18 and in the meantime you get to prep yourself for a whole different kind of theme: Group Therapy.
In homage to their latest album, let’s make February 4th a true group therapy session by showing your support with everything rainbow you got. It’s time to steal the bracelets from your kandi kid neighbor and throw on every bit of color you got. Rules still hold: the more awesome the costume, the higher chances for prizes! Let Above & Beyond be the best treatment you’ve ever gotten in this Sound in Motion rehab. ;)
Perhaps as you walk outside in the morning, you take a deep breath of cold air and silently swear at the minor frostbite you feel coming on your extremities. Or perhaps you feel nostalgic towards last winter when you could barely see your car through the piles of snow? No? Didn’t think so. Either way it’s that time of the year to celebrate the winter spirit, snow or no snow, and what better way than a theme party?!
Let’s greet DJ Magazines #5 trance group Above & Beyond with some white-out Minnesota love. Dress code for the night? You guessed it: all white! If Sensation Amsterdam can rock it, so can we.

So then what’s a good reason to take out your dusty white wig and paint your nails? Because the more white you wear, the more chances of you winning amazing prizes. You dressed up as Mario characters for Infected Mushroom and were rewarded with gift cards, why not go for round 2 of winning? Charlie Sheen would be proud. And no, you will not be banished from the venue for not owning a pair of white pants by our winter goblins.

I know all of you fellow EDM loving fans are patiently waiting for the next Sound In Motion show. Good news? Above & Beyond is just a mere two weeks away!
This British trio has made one of the biggest names for themselves sitting at #5 on the Top 100 DJ Poll for the past two years. Also gaining the reputation of being one of the best vocal trance remixers. Check out this remix they did for Modonna’s single back in 2001 “What It Feels Like for a Girl”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWWZP1XWZ5A.
They’re captivating and extremely energetic on stage and off. It’s a hard thing to miss and impossible to not have fun. Listen to their weekly radio show “Trance Around The World” http://www.trancearoundtheworld.com/.
Don’t miss your chance to see these guys live at Epic Event Center on February 4. Plan ahead and your tickets at http://vitalculture.com/simshows. This greatly maximizes your time in your trance pants. Just saying.

PRO TIPS for anyone attending the SOLD OUT Avicii show tomorrow night @ Epic:
1) Arrive early! The show is sold out, so lines are unavoidable, but arriving early gives you the best chance of getting in the door quickly and getting the most party for your money. Doors open @ 8pm!
2) Have your ticket(s) out, unfolded, and ready to go when you get in the door. Also, do not cut off any part of the printable ticket. The entire ticket is necessary to ensure quick entry.
3) Bring canned food! We are collecting food for Second Harvest Heartland. Our goal is 3000 cans.
4) There is a coat check. But remember, the show is sold out, and that’s just another line you will have to stand in.
5) If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to flag down a Sound In Motion crew member - we’ll all be wearing SIM lanyards.
See everyone tomorrow night!

Avicii is donating $1 million from this tour to the national organization House for Hunger, and SIMshows.com wants to get at it on a local level! We are encouraging attendees of the concert to bring in canned food items to the show. We will be donating all of the food to the local MN organization Second Harvest. SIMshows.com wants to show the community what the EDM world can do! Bring as many as you want, as we are shooting to top 3000 cans!!!!
