Diem Ngo was born and raised in Minnesota. She was first exposed to electronic music as a high school student by friends but didn’t truly fall in love with the electronic music scene until she attended her first big show, Tiesto at the Quest in 2004. She then became a loyal Sound In Motion fan and became addicted to all the amazing shows they brought to Minneapolis. When a close friend purchased his own DJing equipment, she realized the complexity and artistic values of the music. This was the catalyst for her becoming more directly involved with the electronic music scene. Her two passions in life are science and music. When she’s not attending classes or working in the research labs, you’ll find her out in the city promoting SIM shows.
