This dynamic duo has been extremely successful worldwide, and is known for creating Dubstep Symphonies! This incredible group doesn’t stop there… they also produce drum and bass and house music! Quick Bio…

NERO is a British electronic music group originating from London, England. Daniel Stephens, Joseph Ray, and Alana Watson on vocals make up this dynamic band. The group is best known for producing drum and bass, dubstep, and house tracks.

Daniel and Joe have been friends since childhood, and both grew up in Northwood, London. Growing up, both boys were influenced by classical music and each played classical instruments. Ray played classical guitar, and Stephen was influenced by his father to play jazz cello.  Stephens attended a specialist music school, but enjoyed making electronic music outside of school. The boys met at age 15 and shared a common interest in creating electronic music. They began working together at the young age of 17, and set up a home studio together in Stephen’s bedroom. The duo became seriously interested in DJing after seeing M-Beat at a London club in 1994.

Nero’s debut release was entitled “Space 2001,” which was a part of the “Straight Outta Leicester” three piece vinyl LP that was released on Reformed Recordings in 2004. Nero’s debut dubstep release was “This Way.” Nero’s first nationally recognized track was a remix of “Blinded by the Lights” by The Streets. This track was frequently played on UK radio, and was being played by top DJ’s including Tiesto, Diplo, and Skream.

In April of 2010, the duo released their first official single “Innocence” in the UK. The single was released as a double A-side with the track “Electron.” The track reached high numbers on UK Singles Charts on the Dance and Independent genre charts. Following that incredibly successful single came “Me & You” in December of 2010. This single also hit top numbers on the singles chart. The duo’s third single, “Guilt” came out in April of 2011.

Nero’s debut album, “Welcome Reality” was released on August 15, 2011. This album features tracks like: Innocence, Guilt, Me & You, Promises, Crush on You, Reaching Out, and Must Be The Feeling. The track “Promises” has been extremely popular and was named “The Hottest Record in the World” by Zane Lowe. “Promises” debuted on the number 1 spot in the UK singles chart. Their album “Welcome Reality” also debuted at number 1 in the UK album chart. Nero released their first music video “Reaching Out” in December of 2011. The video charted at 17 on the UK Dance Chart.

Nero went on a live show tour in the fall of 2011, and will be back in Minneapolis, MN on Monday April 9, 2012!!

Not only does Sound In Motion bring you all the big names to the cities, we’re constantly on the look out for new up and coming talent. Pierce Fulton is definitely one of them.

This kid grew up with all kinds of music around him. He’s been in a couple rock, metal and raggae bands, even the school orchestra. Pretty sure that’s given him an edge to producing his own tracks, including his new single “Who Wants Spaghetti?”. 

With his debut album, Pardon My French, Pierce has been featured on Above & Beyond’s Trance Around the World and EDX’s No Xcuses radio shows.

Paul DelVecchio, better known as “Pauly D” from the hit show “Jersey Shore,” will be making a special trip to MYTH Nightclub in Maplewood, MN to rock a party Jersey Style! DJ Pauly D will be spinning hit songs, and providing plenty of great music to get everyone’s fists pumpin’!

DJ Pauly D started his music career playing local shows at small clubs at a fairly young age. One of his biggest influences in his musical career is DJ AM. In 2009, DelVecchio was cast for the hit MTV show “Jersey Shore,” where his popularity quickly grew. In 2010, DJ Pauly D released an original single “Beat Dat Beat (It’s Time To)” through iTunes. 2011 was a very successful year for DelVecchio in many aspects of his career. During 2011, Pauly D began playing huge shows, winning many awards, and signing record and merchandising deals with extremely popular artists, television programs, and companies. In both 2010 and 2011, DJ Pauly D was nominated to participate in the “America’s Best DJ” competition. Pauly D opened for Britney Spears at six of her North American shows in 2011, including two shows in Las Vegas and a few other shows on the East Coast. In early 2011, Pauly D signed a contract with the Palm Casino Resort in Las Vegas and will now be their exclusive resident DJ. In December of 2011, DJ Pauly D announced that he will be signing a three-album record deal with 50 Cent under the label G-Unit Records & G-Note Records. Pauly D will also come out with his own style of headphones under the G-Unit & G-Note brand. Pauly D has many big plans for 2012, including his own spin-off television show of Jersey Shore. However, this TV show will focus on DJ Pauly D’s music career. Filming for the show begins early 2012. Pauly D is blowin’ up (just like his hair)!
