  8. Jesse A.

Yes…feel free to comment who you would like us to bring, but don’t forget to vote on the 5 above…

…and realize that those are the 5 we are looking at. We will of course have more options available to us at other times…but we are really wondering about the 5 on the poll for now.

    Oct 22, 2009 @ 8:54 pm

  15. Alina

I said A-track because (1) he’d would be cool to see; (2) he didn’t play here within the past year, (3) there’s too many trance shows for such a short period of time.
People I’d like to see (but might be out of the price range):
    Chris Liebing
    Kyle Geiger
    Adam Beyer
    Loco Dice
(also it’s techno, so I know not hold my breath)
    Here’s one that’s plausible:
Fedde le Grand (and not on a Tuesday night)!
And I know JT can throw down a hardcore set, that’s something I want to see!

    Oct 22, 2009 @ 9:25 pm

  16. Phil from Eccentric Beats

SIM shouldn’t bring Christopher Lawrence or Donald Glaude. That’s stale and just straight YAWN! Crystal Method has been here plenty of times. I say A Trak. That’d get a quality size crowd and would be something that’s pushing it forward after all these massive trance and electro acts this fall/winter.

Gui Boratto is nice, but Minneapolis doesn’t have a club appropriate for him. If Foundation was still open he’d get my vote.

    Oct 22, 2009 @ 9:37 pm

  17. Jen Blackburn

    Alright people, follow the directions.

    Oct 22, 2009 @ 9:50 pm

  18. Martin

keep up the progressive house – carl cox, glenn morrison, etc. tech house like deadmau5 would be cool but we all know how much he loved playing at envy last time…blah that place should be shut down for allowing hip hop and house to be played within hearing distance from each other!

    Oct 22, 2009 @ 11:00 pm

  19. Martin

…and Glaude would have to be my first choice. anyone remember how he absolutely threw it DOWN @Karma in February?

    Oct 22, 2009 @ 11:03 pm

  20. Sarah

Crystal Method fo sho. But you guy should def bring Deadmau5 sometime after this show.

    Oct 22, 2009 @ 11:40 pm

  21. ryan david

I vote Lawrence. Its been quite a while since he has brought his sound to the cities.

Otherwise, here is one no one has requested.

    Koen Groeneveld

    or Spektre

    Oct 22, 2009 @ 11:43 pm

    Oct 23, 2009 @ 12:26 am

  25. Super tall Chris

    Christopher Lawrence @Epic :)

Or Crystal Method again, that was awesome. I love their classics they played last time :)

    Oct 23, 2009 @ 12:27 am

  26. j. peach

    Atrak gets my vote!

Sim should bring Gareth Emery, ATFC for sure, MAT ZO, DJ Eco, Tritonal??

    Oct 23, 2009 @ 1:32 am

  27. Summer

Tough choice. I personally would like to see Gui over anyone else, but I kinda felt like that might have been a wasted vote in this climate. So my vote went to my 2nd (and a close 2nd) choice: A-Trak…

    Oct 23, 2009 @ 2:02 pm

  28. Lise Lo

    Deadmau5.

    Oct 23, 2009 @ 2:27 pm

  29. G

    BORATTO would be sick!

Please bring him!!! Some of the other best concerts that should be had again soon:

    Oct 23, 2009 @ 3:31 pm

    Oct 24, 2009 @ 12:22 pm

  31. Milo M

you should bring ‘Mr and Mrs. Smith’ aka Christopher Laurence and his wife, Sara Finlayson. It wouldn’t disappoint.

    Oct 24, 2009 @ 9:45 pm

  32. Dai

i think we all want deadmau5!

    Oct 25, 2009 @ 12:19 pm

  33. LUIGANO

I voted for Gui Boratto. But I think Sound In Motion in the future should bring Deadmau5, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello, or Axwell something different instead of trance! But cant wait for Guetta!

    Oct 26, 2009 @ 12:48 pm

  34. scott

    Thrillseekers!

    Oct 28, 2009 @ 9:41 am

  36. Dave

BRING ME THE DEADMAU5! I would pay much to see a show with that guy.

Ferry’s show was pretty captivating this year, it’d be awesome to book him.

Either way, I don’t think either of my requests are reasonable since both artists are on tour right now and would be no where near Minneapolis.

Still though, something to shoot for during the summer of 2010. Deadmau5. I bet he got a crappy perception of the developing scene around here by performing at Envy (I HATE Envy).

    Oct 28, 2009 @ 5:14 pm

  37. Lloyd

Deadmau5 at Epic. Only at Epic.

    Oct 28, 2009 @ 5:22 pm

  38. Ben

    Exactly what Lloyd said.

    Deadmau5 at Epic. Please!

I’ve had nothing but bad nights and poor customer service at Envy. I refuse to go there again no matter who is performing, unless the management changes their ridiculous “backroom” policy and starts treating people with respect.

    Oct 29, 2009 @ 9:04 am

  39. Nick Cybela

I’d love to see DeadMau5 here too.

    Oct 29, 2009 @ 9:11 am

  40. Joe

Bring A-Trak, but have him come with Armand Van Helden for a Duck Sauce show! They’re going to be huge.

Also Boys Noize, Deadmau5 or Swedish House Mafia.

    Oct 30, 2009 @ 12:51 am

  41. Jesse A

So many good suggestions. Keep ‘em coming…and stay tuned for what we hope will be another huge year in 2010!

    Oct 30, 2009 @ 2:14 am

  42. maeafair

these are my twenty suggestions for SIM :)

    Oct 30, 2009 @ 6:23 pm

  44. Jenkins

After Tiesto the other day I don’t know. Tiesto is a tough act to to follow. To date, I enjoyed his show the most. Only Armin van Buuren could hold a candle to that last show. I remember ATB had an amazing show a couple of years ago too.

    Nov 02, 2009 @ 8:30 pm

  45. Jenkins

Ohh just seen that somebody wrote Kaskade.
    That would be tantalizing.

    Nov 02, 2009 @ 8:32 pm

  46. Curtis

ATB would be a dream come true! Or in the future maybe George Acosta, John O’Callaghan, Tritonal, Stoneface & Terminal… Darude is sounding pretty awesome now too

    Nov 04, 2009 @ 12:46 am

  54. i am you.

now that I think about it, any of those 5 listen would play a ridiculous show! …BUT after all of these trance shows, I think we should bring in some dirty music to start the year off with a rowdy bang! new years wouldnt be the same without some head-throbbing dirty electrohouse music
    ;D

    Nov 04, 2009 @ 3:52 am

  55. Pia

    Nov 05, 2009 @ 12:30 pm

  57. scott arndt

Nick Warren or Way out West would be nice to have in the Twin cities again, its been way too long.

    Nov 10, 2009 @ 8:22 am

  58. p14nd4

As everyone has already said: Deadmau5, Deadmau5, Deadmau5!

Per B-Litch’s recommendation, I would also dig a MSTRKFT show, but first and foremost, Deadmau5 :). You can be my best friend, if you do that for me.

    Nov 10, 2009 @ 10:30 pm

  59. Jesse A

I you’d like an avatar on SIMShows.com like mine or p14nd4’s above…just visit http://www.gravatar.com and sign up.

That way we have a face to put to the names on the website…it’ll help build our little community.

  60. Summer

    Avatar: Check.

Lee Burridge please. I ask every year – and every year he’s better and better!

SOTEG coming again would be fun, its been a few years I think… Not even sure if he’s still playing actually… hmmm….

Stanton Warriors was my favorite show last year – another appearance would be awesome.

Not to beat a dead horse (slight pun intended) – but DeadMau5 would be an obvious favorite.

    Josh Wink… :)

    Nov 12, 2009 @ 2:19 pm

  61. Eduardo

Bring Pete Tong or Judge Jules. They know how to move the dance floor for sure!
